Sharon Litwinoff

Sharon Litwinoff, a trained singer, has performed in musicals, plays, and more throughout the tri-state metropolitan area. She kicked off her cabaret career in the New York Musical Theatre Festival’s 2012 In My Other Life Cabaret. Following that performance, she jumped over to the opera world, appearing in Die Fledermaus with the Temple University Opera Theater. Sharon was most recently seen as Mrs. Winthrop in Pleasant Valley Productions' The Secret GardenOther credits include Kay Banks in Father of the Bride with interACT Productions, Ragtime with Pleasant Valley Productions and Gladys in 42nd Street at the Bergen Performing Arts Center.

Trained in acting at Temple University, Sharon studied techniques including Chekhov, Hagen, and Stanislavski, as well as Fitzmorris and Alexander. She studied the unarmed and single sword disciplines of stage combat under Ian Rose, who described her fighting style to have “the eye of the tiger.” Sharon studied composition under Michael Klinghoffer at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she also trained in dance styles including ballet, contemporary, modern Israeli, and Gaga. Hip hop, tap, and jazz are other dance styles that keep her feet moving.

Sharon originated the role of Rose Hockley in After Carpathia with Smile Frown Theatre Guild. Other Philadelphia theater credits include Betty Parris in The Crucible (Temple Theaters) and Emily in Emily’s Grandmother (New Voices: Philadelphia Young Playwrights Festival). She performed overseas in Truly Scrumptious! with the Jerusalem English Speaking Theatre and Israel Musicals. Her film credits include Gwen in the web series Shadows of Ava and Sunflower in a.k.a. Profile Glitch, along with some multimedia work in the play Kiss Me or Cut Off My Head. She did voiceover work for the children’s story “Gloria Has the Greedies” and for Israeli standardized tests.

When she is not fighting vampires or occupying herself via other impressive activities, Sharon writes such things as music, plays, and children’s stories. She refers to her pop music style as “girl with a guitar” – even though sometimes it’s a piano.
