Office Staff
After more than twenty years in telecommunications, Carole Klein consulted, taught at the university level, volunteered countless hours and had long lunches with her friends. In 2003, with her two children just about out of the house, she put her experience as a synagogue officer to good use by coming to CBI as its first Executive Director. In her spare time, she and her husband Jan divide their time between the shore in the summer and the city the rest of the year. To contact Carole, please email her at cbiadmin@cbibr.org.
Maureen Joachim is a founding member of CBI--you might say she came with the building. Actually, after acquiring two Masters degrees, marrying, and working for ten years in vocational rehabilitation, Maureen retired to raise two children and two dogs. Once the chicks left the nest, she decided to return to work and tighten her ties to CBI (beyond selling tallitot and kippot for the Sisterhood Gift Gallery). When the Office Manager position became available, it seemed that both desires could be fulfilled. Maureen lives in Basking Ridge with her husband, Steve, and their third dog, Teddy, and hopes to help carry CBI well into the 21st century. To contact Maureen, please email her at office@cbibr.org.
Andrew Dorsch does the daily bookkeeping for CBI. He has been with CBI on a part-time basis for almost five years. Andrew graduated with a BS from University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School and currently works as the budget manager at the Jewish Theological Seminary in Manhattan. Andrew teaches the 4th Grade Religious School class on Sundays. He and his wife, Claudia have two daughters, Morgan and Ilana and a dog, Chester.
