Basking Ridge - On Sunday, March 12, Congregation B’nai Israel in Basking Ridge will hold its annual Purim Carnival, complete with arts and crafts, balloons, games, great prizes and some real carnival food, such as hot pretzels, pizza bagels and falafel! This year, there will be a fabulous addition to the usual fun and games – a GAME TRUCK will be on site 12noon to 1pm!  Kids of all ages will be able to enjoy a huge variety of video and dance games. The price of admission to the carnival is $5 per person, with kids under 5 free.  There will also be a one-time $5 fee for unlimited use of the GAME TRUCK.  Feel free to come in costume, to add to the fun. Other games and activities include Temporary Tattoos, Sand Art, the Goldfish Game (which gives kids a chance to win a goldfish from a local pet store), Mini-Golf, the Leap Frog Game, Haman Takes a Fall, and, of course, the Guessing Jar (filled with candy and prizes), which will go to one very lucky winner.
