Two nationally acclaimed comedians will perform at a Comedy Night sponsored by Congregation B'nai Israel of Basking Ridge on Saturday evening, November 1st. The comedy show and wine and cheese reception begins at 7:30pm at 40 Whitenack Road in Basking Ridge. The event is open to the public and tickets are available in advance at Congregation B'nai Israel or by calling 908-204-1412. Tickets are $36 per person.
Comedian Barry Weintraub has hosted talk radio, anchored sports television and written, produced and has created programming for E! Entertainment Television, MGM TV and Comedy Central. His stand-up comedy has taken him to the finals of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and the Montreal International Comedy Festival. Barry channels his news addiction into his stand-up and an entertaining email titled, "Headline Schmooze." He is currently hosting a series of Scampaign 08 shows at Gotham comedy club in Manhattan.
